Question: How can my doctor treat me without a physical exam?
Answer: Your doctor actually doesn’t need to do a physical exam to diagnose and treat many conditions. That’s because knowing your medical history is considered “90% of the evaluation” when combined with the doctor and patient.
Question: What do I need to use Denovo Telemedicine?
Answer: You do need a few basics: a computer or compatible mobile device (tablet or smartphone), a web-cam and a microphone. If your computer or mobile device already has an integrated camera and microphone, you shouldn’t need any extra equipment to get started.
Question: Can my doctor prescribe medication?
Answer: Yes, if your doctor decides you need treatment, he or she will send your prescription electronically to your pharmacy so it’s ready to pick-up when you arrive.
Question: I’m not tech-savy. Is Denovo Telemedicine still for me?
Answer: Yes, we partnered with eVisit, an app designed to be very user friendly. Imagine Skype, but with a few more bells and whistles to give you and your doctor everything you need to have a successful visit.
